STAY & TRAIN PROGRAMS

This is an immersive experience for your dog. It allows the training process to happen in a neutral environment. At the end of their stay you will get to work hands on with your dog and trainer to ensure that you both get the most out of the training. "It doesn't matter how well your dog works for me, it matters how well they work for you."

STAY & TRAIN MODIFIED PUPPY PROGRAM

Investment: $600
Program length: 2 weeks
Age: 12-16 weeks

This program is approximately 2 weeks and consists of only on leash training. This is a modified version of our 4 week program. Training equipment is NOT included in the cost and we will recommend certain equipment to maintain training at home.

What we focus on:

Crate training
Manners on leash (pushing through doorways, biting, jumping, etc)
socialization with people and dogs
Informal commands taught: sit, down, heel, here, place
Name recognition
trip to town (if fully vaccinated)
Introduction to a sport

STAY & TRAIN PUPPY PROGRAM

Investment (includes some training equipment): $975 per month
Program length: 1-4 months
Age: 8 weeks to 6 months

This program can be modified per your puppy's needs. Your puppy can begin this program as early as 8 weeks old and we can continue training until 6 months old. At which point your puppy would then need to begin one of our formal programs.

What we focus on:

Potty training
Crate training
House manners (pushing through doorways, jumping on furniture, chewing on rugs, jumping, etc)
socialization with people and dogs
Informal commands taught: sit, down, heel, here, place
Name recognition
trip to town (if fully vaccinated)
Introduction to a sport

STAY & TRAIN MODIFIED BASIC OBEDIENCE

Investment: $1,250
Program length: 2 weeks
Age: 6 months or older

This program is approximately 2 weeks and consists of only on leash training. This is a modified version of our 3 week program. Training equipment is NOT included in the cost and we will recommend certain equipment to maintain training at home.

What we focus on:

Manners on the leash
2 commands are taught with an implied stay: heel and place
sitting to enter or exit a door
crate training
trip to town
socialization
behavior modification if needed

STAY & TRAIN BASIC OBEDIENCE PROGRAM

Investment: $2,500 (includes training equipment)
Program length: 3 weeks
Age: 6 months and older

This program is approximately 3 weeks and consists of only on leash training. This allows for better communication between dog and owner on the leash.

What we focus on:

Manners on the leash (no jumping, pulling and forging ahead)
5 Commands taught with an implied stay: sit, down, heel, here, place
Sitting to enter or exit a door
Crate training
Trip to town
Socialization
Behavior modification if needed

STAY & TRAIN MODIFIED ADVANCED OBEDIENCE

Investment: $2,250
Program length: 4 weeks
Age: 6 months or older

This program is approximately 4 weeks. The program will give your dog on leash and off leash training on the electronic collar. Training equipment is NOT included in the cost and we will recommend certain equipment to maintain training at home.

What we focus on:

Manners on leash and off leash
3 commands with an implied stay on leash and on the ecollar: here, heel & place
Sitting to enter or exit a door
Crate training
trip to town
Socialization
Behavior modification if needed

STAY & TRAIN ADVANCED OBEDIENCE PROGRAM

Investment: $4,500 (includes training equipment)
Program length: 6 weeks
Age: 6 months and older

This program is approximately 6 weeks. The 1st 3 weeks are taught on the leash and the last 3 weeks are taught on the electronic collar.

What we focus on:

Manners on leash and off leash (jumping, mouthing, pulling, etc)
5 commands taught with an implied stay on leash and on the collar: sit, down, heel, here and place
Sitting to enter or exit a door
Crate training
Trip to town
Socialization
Behavior modification if needed

STAY & TRAIN BASIC GUNDOG PROGRAM

Investment: $850 per month Program length: 4 months Age: 6 months and older

This program is designed to teach your dog to retrieve dove, duck and geese. Keep in mind each dog is different and may complete this program at a different pace. We will encourage you to come out for sessions with your trainer, so you can learn along with your dog during the process. Depending on the dog and owner we may encourage you to take your dog home for a weekend to practice training at home. During the 1st 2 months of training your dog will learn Advanced Obedience and Force Fetch. The last 2 months your dog will learn a basic retrieve in a field setting and then be introduced to simulated hunting scenarios.

What we focus on:

3 weeks of on leash obedience
3 weeks of electronic collar conditioning
6 weeks of force fetch (the commands taught during this are hold, drop & fetch)
4 weeks of ground fetch and basic retrieve
4 weeks of assimilated hunting scenarios and experience

STAY & TRAIN ADVANCED GUNDOG PROGRAM

Investment (includes some training equipment): $850 per month
Program length: 6 months
Age: Completed basic gundog

This program is designed to teach your dog how to pick up a blind retrieve (hand signals) and multiple bird retrieve (double and triple). Again, keep in mind each dog is different and may complete it at a different pace. Your dog has to be trained through the basic gundog program before starting this program.

What we focus on:

Teach the concept of a retrieve with 2 or 3 birds (double & triple)
Sit on a whistle
Command "Back", the command to send on a blind retrieve
Casting with all 4 signals (Right back, left back, right over, left over)
Learning how to be cast around on land and water
Casting and retrieving in a simulated hunting scenario
